These two wonderful ladies put up with me just being back from the Photo Field Trip– all covered in dust, un-showered for almost a week, and probably smellier than I care to admit. Yeah. That happened. Yet, despite all of that, they trusted me to explore the streets of Venice Beach with them, and they trusted me to navigate a beach full of tourists at Santa Monica Pier, to get them some lovely engagement pictures. We started the evening off with seeing what cool graffiti we could find in Venice Beach to serve as a backdrop for these two brides to be (I can’t believe it’s just a little bit more than a month, before I get to photograph their Jewish wedding in Manhattan Beach!!). And cool graffiti we did find- from Charlie Chaplin murals, to motivational quotes, to an accidental Grey’s Anatomy episode references (“We are superheroes. We ARE superheroes.”). To a random seagull who really… really… wanted to be in one of our shots.
We finished the night off with some sunset portraits at Santa Monica Pier. These two… man, these two are just perfect for each other. So I am just going to let the images do the rest of the talking from this point onwards- enjoy!
