Finally had a chance to edit some beautiful images full of rustic wedding ideas from a recent beautifully simple and intimate wedding I photographed as a second photographer for the talented Dewan Demmer – London Wedding Photographer (seriously, check out this man’s work if you are in London. He is lovely to work with!)
If you have followed my blog posts you will have noticed that I just love the really simple, relaxed and quirky weddings, which are all about the lovely couple and the friends and family attending. I don’t know why, but I just do. Not to say that large weddings can’t incorporate all of those elements- they can and they do, but I see it more often in the smaller weddings.
The ceremony was held among close friends and family at a Hackney registry, with stunning music by one of their musician friends. After the ceremony, the party headed over to Finsbury Park for champagne and general mingling, before finishing the day off at a local little pub just outside of the Park. It was very much DIY, and it was very much about skipping on the details and just enjoying each other’s company and celebrating the moment taking place.
